Current medications and treatments

  • Paclitaxel – chemotherapy
  • Zoladex – hormone superagonist
  • Denosumab – antibody to strengthen and treat bone metastasies
  • MS Contin – pain
  • Panadol Osteo – pain
  • Gabapentin – pain
  • Sevredol – breakthrough painkiller
  • Dexamethosone – anti-inflammatory steroid
  • Naproxyn – anti-inflammatory
  • Nexium – protects gastrointestinal system
  • Pramin – nausea
  • Domperidone – nausea
  • Ondansetron – nausea

Previous medications and treatments – in reverse order

  • Whole brain radiotherapy – May 2014 five fractions
  • Eribulin chemotherapy – self funded – (progressed on treatment)
  • Radiotherapy to pelvis and hips – March 2014 one fraction
  • Navelbine chemotherapy – December 2013-February 2014 (progression on treatment)
  • Radiotherapy to skulll and thoracic spine – January 2014 five fractions each
  • Femara aromatase inhibitor (hormone therapy) – July 2013-December 2013 (progression on treatment)
  • Xeloda chemotherapy – February 2013 – December 2014 (progression on treatment)
  • Radiotherapy to left hip, pelvis and femur – June 2013 five fractions
  • Radiotherapy to chest wall and underarm – November 2014-December 2013
  • Tamoxifen (hormone therapy) – September 2012-February 2013 (progression on treatment)
  • Surgery – September 2012
  • Paclitaxel/Gemcitabine chemotherapy – 5 rounds – toxicity
  • Adriamycin/Cyclophosphamide chemotherapy (AC) – 8 rounds, maximum for lifetime

Diagnosis

  • ER+ breast cancer which does not respond to hormone therapy. ER+ reconfirmed at diagnosis (November 2011), surgery and January 2014 liver biopsy
  • Metastasies in liver and lymph nodes at diagnosis
  • Metastasies in bones appeared during Paclitaxel/Gemcitabine treatment
  • Bone mets present in spine, neck , right shoulder, skull, hips, pelvis, left femur
  • Meninges mets
